MEANING
The Fire Cross, also known as the Cross of Thunder, is an ancient Baltic symbol of strength, life, and happiness. It is believed to bring good fortune, energy, and health. In Latvian mythology, Thunder is the principal sky deity, and the Thunder Cross is among the oldest traditional signs found in Latvia.
Māra is the deity of the material world- the giver of fertility and protector of women. She is associated with the home, sacred fire, and abundance. The Māra Cross symbolizes protection of the household, well-being of the family, and warding off negative forces.
