Forest Mother is a curated brand offering a wide range of handcrafted goods and carefully selected items, including but not limited to 925 sterling silver and bronze jewelry, amber pieces, knitted wool socks, clothing, footwear, hair accessories, bookmarks, historical reconstruction collector items, decorations, interior objects, healthcare and skincare products, and other accessories. Many of our items are made by hand, ensuring that each product carries its own subtle character and individuality.
2. PRODUCT INFORMATION
We make every effort to display our products as accurately as possible. However, as many items are handmade, slight variations in color, texture, finish, or dimensions may occur and are considered a natural part of the craftsmanship rather than a defect. Product images are representative. Minor differences between the photograph and the item received do not constitute grounds for return.
3. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE
By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. Your order is confirmed only once you receive a written order confirmation by email. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, pricing errors, stock unavailability, or violation of these Terms.
4. PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated and are exclusive of any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or local fees, which are the sole responsibility of the customer. Payments are processed securely through Stripe (for credit and debit card transactions) and through accepted cryptocurrency payment methods. Forest Mother does not store your full payment information; all transactions are encrypted and handled by our payment processors in compliance with industry standards. Cryptocurrency transactions are final once confirmed on the blockchain and cannot be reversed. Refunds for cryptocurrency payments will be issued in the equivalent USD value at the time of refund, processed either as store credit or via an alternative agreed method.
5. PROCESSING AND SHIPPING
Orders are typically prepared and shipped within 2 to 3 weeks of order confirmation. As many items are handmade, processing times may occasionally extend during periods of high demand or limited material availability. We ship worldwide from Latvia. Estimated international delivery times after dispatch range from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the destination and the efficiency of the local postal service. Forest Mother is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers, customs authorities, or events beyond our reasonable control. A valid phone number is required at checkout. Upon arrival in the destination country, the local postal service will contact the recipient to arrange delivery. If delivery cannot be completed, the package will be held at the nearest post office for collection within 30 days. Failure to collect the package within this period transfers responsibility for any reshipping or return costs to the customer.
6. CUSTOMS, DUTIES, AND IMPORT TAXES
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or other fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the product or shipping price and are the sole responsibility of the customer. We recommend reviewing your country's import regulations before placing an order.
7. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE INFORMATION
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all delivery details, including name, address, and contact information, are entered accurately at checkout. Forest Mother is not liable for lost, delayed, or undelivered packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer. Packages returned due to address errors will be reshipped at the customer's expense.
8. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original condition, and securely packaged for the return. If you feel the item's quality doesn't meet your expectations, or if it arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, simply send it back to us — we will cover all return shipping costs and send you a new, replacement item free of charge. If you'd prefer a refund instead, that's also an option. For returns due to personal preference (wrong size, changed your mind, etc.), return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. Refunds and replacements are processed within 2-3 weeks of us receiving the returned item. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
9. CUSTOM AND PERSONALIZED ORDERS
Custom and personalized orders are accepted both through the Site and by direct request. Due to their bespoke nature, custom or personalized items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded except in the case of verified manufacturing defects or damage during transit.
10. DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
If your order arrives damaged or fails to arrive, please contact us within 30 days from the date of dispatch. We may require photographic evidence of damage or proof of non-delivery to process your claim. We will work in good faith to resolve the issue through replacement, partial refund, or full refund, as appropriate to the situation.
